Let me introduce myself!
I’m Emma. I’m a copywriter based near Salisbury in Wiltshire, specialising in working for small businesses, charities, not-for-profits and self-employed folk. I’ll turn my pen to anything, so to speak, from website content, blogs and SEO articles to brand names, press releases, advertorials, brochures, and newsletters.
Before becoming a freelancer copywriter I worked on the front line in social care, for the Stroke Association, Mencap and Salisbury District Council. I also worked for various small businesses, assisting them with their marketing. Even then, I was the go-to person to produce any copy material that was needed. That experience has enabled me to totally understand the pressures they all face, in a competitive world.
I figured out my calling in life was to become a copywriter and I went on to gain a Level 4 Diploma in Copywriting from The College of Media and Publishing. I do like to prove that I know what I am talking about! And that is when I set up Pass the Task.
For me, it’s not about churning out words, it’s about producing copywriting I am proud of. My clients agree. Many of them continue to work with me on a regular basis even if we started with just one initial project.
If you’d rather build a personal relationship with a freelance copywriter, on a one-to-one basis, it’s worth us having a chat! I’ll get down to the knitty-gritty of what your business needs, so I can then produce sparkling copy that gets results.
Outside of work I’m normally found dealing with domestics and hanging out with the kids. Any ‘me time’ is spent yomping around the countryside with my dogs, reading voraciously or attempting new crochet projects.
